As an independent
church,
we have no dictates from a denominational office, but the church is
led by its elected leaders with accountability to the congregation
we serve.
As an autonomous church,
we are self-governing. The officers of pastor and deacon are
elective offices. The church has an extensive constitution that
distills the biblical and necessary legal rules for the operation of
the church.
As an indigenous
church,
we are self-supporting and self-sustaining.
As a missionary church,
we support more than 25 missionaries in both foreign and domestic
missions.
As an evangelical
church,
we believe the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ and that we
should be a witness to the saving grace of Christ to our community
through the efforts of the local church and to the world through our
mission program.
As a conservative church, we
hold to a sanctity-of-life position and believe in heterosexual,
monogamous marriage, holding that both abortion and homosexuality
are condemned in Scripture.
