As a community of believers, we are well aware of the grace of God in our lives and rejoice in that grace. None of us are deserving of the love of God but we have experienced it and are doing our best to show the love of Christ to others.

We are bold to believe that we as a body of believers in Christ have something to offer you through God’s Word transforming our lives. We would love to have you come and see that transformation in action within our lives. Transformations in nature are marvelous things but they are sometimes messy. It is no different spiritually. We try not to let the mess get in the way of the marvel.

Pastor Emeritus William Barber

Pastor Emeritus William Barber served almost twenty years at Grace Bible Church before his retirement in August 2008. He is now serving his Lord at Shepherds Theological Seminary (www.shepherdsseminary.org) as the Director of Development and Director of Mentoring.

He is married to Lalanne Barber and they have five children and seven grandchildren.

He earned the following degrees:
B.A. - Wake Forest University
Master of Divinity - Temple Baptist Seminary
Doctor of Ministry - Temple Baptist Seminary

Thirty-four of his thirty-nine years in pastoral ministry have been in the Midwest including eight years in Ontario and six years in Indiana.

He has served as Christian school principal, President of Canadian Baptist Bible College, and college teacher.

Pastor Barber has articles published in several national Christian journals. He appeared on national television in Canada defending biblical creation. He has spoken in some of the leading colleges and seminaries in the United States and has conducted meetings in several countries including Canada, Scotland and Ireland.

Pastor Barber is committed to Bible exposition in his pulpit ministry.
